En la actualidad, realmente solo existen dos estándares de diámetro de barra: 31,8 mm y 35 mm.
¡Asegúrate de descubrir cuáles son tus barras actuales!
Casi todas las horquillas actuales tienen un tubo de dirección de 1 1/8" en el punto donde se conecta el vástago.
Todavía quedan algunas horquillas con tubo de dirección de 1,5", pero es bastante improbable que tengas que preocuparte por esto.
Siempre puedes medir tu potencia/tubo de dirección actual si quieres estar más seguro. (1 1/8" equivale aproximadamente a 28,5 mm)
Es muy difícil para nosotros responder esto, pero un buen lugar para comenzar suele ser cerca del desplazamiento de la horquilla.
Recuerda, una potencia más larga no compensa una bicicleta demasiado corta (y viceversa). Afecta también a otros aspectos, como la conducción.
A esto lo llamamos "pila" y es de 38 mm en todas nuestras potencias (excepto la de montaje directo, claro).
¡Tanto como sea posible! El tubo de dirección debe quedar a solo unos 3 mm del extremo superior de la potencia. (Lo suficiente para que el borde de la tapa superior quede libre).
Consejo: el tubo de dirección atraviesa completamente la potencia y sobresale unos 3 mm por la parte superior. Luego, usa un espaciador de dirección en la parte superior. Así es como construimos nuestras bicicletas en la sede de Chromag.

Siga las especificaciones de torsión y asegúrese de que la placa frontal tenga un espacio igual en la parte superior e inferior.
Las marcas del manillar solo te ayudarán hasta cierto punto. Si quieres ser súper preciso, ¡saca la cinta métrica!
Si algo cruje, casi siempre se debe a suciedad y polvo. Desármalo todo y límpialo. Este también es un buen momento para inspeccionar si hay daños.
Si tienes un accidente y ajustas el ángulo del manillar, ¡por favor!, afloja la potencia al enderezarla. También es importante revisar bien la bicicleta después de un accidente, sobre todo la parte delantera.
Nunca está de más cambiar los tornillos de la potencia cada año (te sorprendería lo corrosivo que es el sudor). Vendemos kits de tornillos de repuesto a un precio muy razonable.

Chromag are the only maker of quality after market stems that offer a stem that is near to the magic 44 mm (matching trail on a 29” fork) for that balanced, neutral steering one wishes to have on a perfectly balanced bike.
Whilst the Riza is overbuilt for my purposes it is nice to know that it can take the kind of slams that Ramage winners hand out to their bikes when it doesn’t all go to plan.
The machine marks give it a harmonious aesthetic and the use of M6 bolts on the steerer and the face plate mean that only one tool is required to fettle this premium component. Chromag don’t offer an upgrade kit and probably have strong feelings about steel bolts but I feel that the rainbow titanium bolts I have used give it a certain pop.
The main reason to run it is the neutral steering and no-one else makes anything close to a 44 mm stem in the 31.8 mm standard.
Great customer service with prompt answers to questions and fairly swift dispatch into the post.
I have them on all three bikes now as they hit that perfect length between 40 mm (too short) and 50 mm (too long).

This is my third Riza stem. Best stems out there. Strong, reasonable weight, dead sexy.

I recently bought a Chromag Riza stem and Cutlass Carbon Bars. The paring looks amazing on the bike and they are as advertised for strength, flexibility and durability. Awesome combo!
I don't know any other stem where I can run the bars so close to the sterer tube, helps so much with barspins and corners
I put a Chromag stem, bar and saddle on every bike I own and have been for around 20 years. The Riza is my first choice, as it is build sturdy enough to take the abuse bc bikes receive, and is locally CNC’d. It doesn’t hurt that it looks sharp too.
As locked in as you can feel on a bike with this stem. I went from a standard width stem to the Riza and crazy how much of a difference in stability and control I noticed. Cheers.

Had various other Chromag Stems over the years but this one is the best looking one yet! Love the new one piece stem faceplate over it predecessor the BZA.
Made in Canada, and it shows. The quality and finish is top spec. Everything just oozes of quality. The stem's clamp area is beefy, so you know your bars are secured, and have strong hold.
This stem is a beautiful bit of gear.

I am a chromag athlete, and having got my hands on this snazzy number when they came out i can't get over how good it looks and performs! i have one on the slope bike and another on the pedal rig and its honestly an amazing stem to run, not only is it dead sexy but stiff too! it's a dream build item for me! 10/10
